Weatherstation Free iPad App

WeatherStation is a simple, take-it-as-you-see-it kind of app.  It is as a weather app should be—it tells you the weather, and not much more—and that’s why I love it.

This app has one screen with two pop-up menus: one to set the location, and one to set the color scheme. You can use the iPad’s locator to determine your current location, or you can drag you pin to any other location you want on the built-in googlemap.

The main, and only screen, gives you the basic current weather information: temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, dew point, wind chill, wind speed and direction of the wind.  It also gives a forecast for the day and night, and the next five days.  The screen also displays the current time and date, making it a nice app to just leave open and running on a dock or a stand.

This is a great alternative to the built-in weather app native to the iPhone and iPod but was noticeably missing from the iPad.  It is simple, to the point, and easy to read. It tells me what I need to know without too much fuss or hassle.
