Looking for a stylish iPad holder for your desk? Mobile accessory maker LUXA2, a division of Thermaltake, just sent us one of their new H4 Holders for review. The H4 iPad Holder which is also flexible and adjustable to fit Nooks, Kindles, and almost any eReader is an iPad Holder designed to display your iPad in style.

With a solid aluminum backing, the H4 Holder is designed specifically for use with the iPad. The solid coloring matches the backing of the iPad to perfection. When used together, the iPad and H4 Holder look to be a match meant for one another and even resembles the iMac’s design.

To secure the iPad, slide the tablet between the three-sided-grips and close the grips to safely secure the iPad. Rubber covers are on the end of each grip to hold the iPad in place as you tap and browse the web. As for stability, the H4′s design secures the iPad solid surfaces.

If you’re using the iPad as a computing replacement, the H4 holder is great. Pick up a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and you can set up the iPad at your desk like a regular computer. For myself, I’ve set up the holder along my bed so I can use my iPad as a clock radio with the Pandora App whenever I’m not using my iPad to browse the web.

While the design of of the H4 Holder doesn’t allow for you to fold it up to either store away or travel with, so long as you don’t plan to use the H4 as your travel holder, the LUXA2 is a beautifully designed, sturdy, and excellent iPad holder accessory.

• Stable, the holder and iPad securely locks in and easy to tap the iPad without inadvertently changing the angle
• Adjustable for grips to fit additional eReaders like the Kindle
• Easily adjustable to move from portrait or landscape orientation
• Design that matches the iPad

What we didn’t like

• Not a portable holder you can pack up and travel with
